Solar compatibility

Find compatible solar panels for your portable power station

Mode
Ranks every panel and configuration with a 1–10 score based on your priorities. Best overall pick shown first across all panel types.
Quick compatibility check — shows single, 2× series and 2× parallel for each panel, plus max series/parallel limits and real operating voltage. Good for deciding if a panel works at all with your station.

Cold-weather Voc
Cold-weather Voc safety margin

Panels produce higher Voc in cold weather — sometimes 10–25% above the rated value. Setting a margin lowers the effective Voc ceiling so string voltage stays safe when temperatures drop.

Off — No margin. Only use if you have verified your exact operating conditions.
−10% — Mild climates: Mediterranean, mild maritime UK. Design low around −5°C.
−15% — Temperate Europe. Design low around −10°C. Recommended default.
−20% — Scandinavia, Germany, Canada, Northern US. Colder winters.
−25% — Conservative / DIY recommendation for unknown climates or very cold regions.

How scores work
40%Wattage Are you filling your station's solar capacity — or hitting your target wattage? Higher output = higher score.
30%Voltage quality Is the panel voltage working efficiently in your station's charging range, with a safe margin below the limit?
15%Balance Even series/parallel splits (e.g. 2S2P) are more efficient than lopsided ones (e.g. 1S4P).
0–15%Panel count Fewer panels = simpler wiring. Weight set by you on the left.
5%Connector Small bonus for direct plug-in — no adapter needed.
Below 2 = Not recommended. Hover any score to see a full breakdown.
⚡ Custom entries are session-only — they exist until you close this browser tab and are never saved permanently or visible to other users. Use these to test compatibility with a station or panel not yet in the database.
